2. Hape's Cook'n Serve Kitchen Wins 2014 PAL Award!
Emphasizing the value of learning language has earned the Cook ’n Serve Kitchen a PAL (Play Advances Language) award.
"The Cook ’n Serve Kitchen gives wonderful practice in oral story telling as well as practice with the written word as kids can write out their menu or invite friends to a cooking party," reports Language Pathologist Sherry Artemenko. She praised Hape for creativity, hand work, and developmental focus designed into the toy.

3. Peter Handstein awarded the honor of honorary citizen of Ningbo
In order to award Hape China's great contributions for the economy and diplomacy of Ningbo, the government especially granted Mr. Peter Handstein with the honor of honorary citizen of Ningbo and held a grand awarding ceremony on 22nd October.
Several leaders and principals of government related departments, such as the director of standing committee of NPC of Ningbo and vice mayor of municipal government award the medal to Mr. Peter Handstein. Several Hape high-level leaders, such as Maggie Qiu, Vice President, Jason Zhou, Executive Vice President, and Purity Deng, Senior Vice President, Europe, were invited to witness the glorious moment.
4. Parents' Choice Recognizes Four Hape Toys with Awards
The awards keep piling up for German toy leader Hape who was named to Parent's Choice honor wall by parents, children and early childhood experts. The review was conducted in the United States and announced October 15th. Hape, who has been recognized annually by internationally- recognized Parents' Choice Foundation received four awards including the highest Gold Award for the DIY Dream House and three Recommended Awards for the Walk Along Snail, Little Red Rider and Roller Derby.
